since we are in Beijing, my mom hired a manderin teacher for us three. man, this teacher is harsh, on the third lesson(i have manderin lesson 3 times a week, call that nice), she asked me to write an essay about how i felt and what i saw the day it snowed. ALL IN CHINESE!!! finally spent like 1 hour today writing 1 and a half pages for her....lol

IT SNOWED!! OMG! MY FIRST TIME TO SEE REAL SNOW FALL FROM THE SKY!!

went to elissa's house for a sleepover on Sat. night. THEN IT SNOWED ON SUNDAY MORNING!! it was SO beautiful.......

WHEW! been sick for a few days.......

went to my first homeschooling meeting on Thursday, it was cool. met a lot of people that homeschools as well. most of them were american, but i found some chinese people there too. it started at 1 pm and ended 4 pm. i had classes every hour.

1-2 pm, science with 3 other girls. cathrine, hannah and margi (all 13)

2-3 pm, current events which we study together with other kids, from 13-17, boys and girls together. it was really cool, just like school. we sat together and Mr. Gates, (a homeschooling dad) taught us about Thailand, and the stuff thats happening there]

3-4 pm, we discussed about a debate which is going to be held this coming thursday. man, never knew that there is homework given everytime from the homeschool co-op.

kinda went to the forbidden city, went on the outer walls, had the shock of my life when i went to the bathroom, SOME OF THE CUBBIES HAVE NO DOORS!! and there was a door lying on the floor, people in the cubbies with doors didnt even bothering closing them. I WAS ABSOULUTELY HORRIFIED, and the bathroom was stinking so badly and i thought i was going to suffocate. whew!!

the church here is quite funny, they check ur ID card before u can get in, local people are not allowed in, and there are Chinese officials there every time, making sure the people are not talking about REBELLING against the government. fancy rebelling against the government, forigners ok? hilarious......... i go to the 9.30 to 11.00  am service, it is really formal, tell more later
